Wives, when we pray, it is a time for us to have communication on an intimate level with our Heavenly Father. It is His desire to spend time listening to our hearts speak to Him. Just like the woman with the issue of blood; if we just reach out and touch the hem of His garment, we will harness His undivided attention and garner an audience with Him. Proverbs 3:5 says, “Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, And lean not on your own understanding.” This also means to trust God when it comes to our marriages, our husbands, and our own desires. He is the author and finisher of our faith. He knows our end from our beginning. He placed purpose within us before we were even a thought in our mother’s womb. Our prayers will move mountains in our marriages if we petition Christ with a sincere heart. He is waiting for our cries. He is waiting for our calls. He is waiting to take the lead in our marriages and our destinies, if we will just trust Him. Lean all the way into His Glory. Seek His face; listen for His voice and follow His directions. If we do these things, we will find the Power that He has bestowed within us as Praying Wives. We will pray for God to reveal the purpose that He has for our marriages and when He reveals this purpose, Go and be a Witness to all that have an ear to hear, all for His Glory. May God so richly bless our marriages.
